You Will Need:-

Cooking time: 5 minutes



Step 1: Add the ingredients to the pan.

Place a saucepan over medium flame and then add 3 black peppercorns, 1 cardamom pod (split down the center) and 1 cup of milk to it.



Step 2: Add the turmeric powder.

Add ½ a tsp of turmeric powder to the milk and stir the liquid until it turns golden yellow.



Step 3: Heat the milk until it boils over.

Allow the mixture to heat over medium flame until it boils over once. This should take around 3-5 minutes.



Step 4: Strain out the milk in a cup.

Once the spiced turmeric milk is done, strain it out to remove the peppercorns and cardamom remnants from it. Then, allow the solution to rest for a while until it is warm enough to touch.

Drink it while it is warm.

Note: Add a spoonful of honey before serving the milk to children or adults who find the taste to be unbearably disgusting!
